Mobility Matters
We don’t all need to be doing cartwheels, but maintaining the ability to move well and walk with confidence is fundamental to a healthy life.
Mobility helps us stay independent, active, and able to enjoy the things we love for longer. It supports not only our physical health but also our mental wellbeing.
Simple movements, such as gently circling your feet while watching television, can help improve flexibility, circulation, and mobility in the feet and ankles. If you ever attended dance classes as a child, you may remember the “good toes, bad toes” exercise. This is another excellent movement for stretching and strengthening the feet, helping to maintain flexibility and foot health.
Healthy feet are the foundation of good movement. When your feet feel good, you’re more likely to stay active—and regular movement benefits your body, your mind, and your overall wellbeing.
Healthy feet. Healthy movement. Healthy mind. Healthy life. 🦶🤸🏼.
